Doing Our Part for Earth Day
Rampit USA celebrated Earth Day this year by gathering our crew and hitting the road to tackle our adopted Michigan highway.
Armed with gloves and trash bags, the Rampit USA team dove headfirst into the undesirable task of clearing the roadside of litter and debris. With each piece collected, those who participated knew they were doing their part to keep the environment clean and healthy. It was hard work, and although it was a beautiful day, it wasn’t fun work, but as we sifted through the grass and bushes, there was a growing sense of accomplishment, knowing that we were making a difference.
Ten years into this annual tradition, our dedication to the cause has continuously grown stronger with each day of service.
Amongst the banter, there was a shared determination to leave our mark on Earth Day, one stuffed-to-the-seams bag of garbage at a time. As we hauled bag after bag to the side of the road, it was a tangible reminder that our efforts were paving the way for a better, greener community.
Along the way, we stumbled upon some rather strange items to throw away, adding a bit of unexpected intrigue and excitement to our cleanup adventure. From old papers and magazines to oddly peculiar pieces of clothing, each highway find sparked curiosity and laughter in the team. As we wrapped up the cleanup, we left the highway feeling exhausted but fulfilled, knowing that we’d made a small but important contribution to the planet we call home.
